Okay, here's a pic of the ALMS wheel markings...they are 8" not 8.5" if I'm reading this correctly.

Also, does the ET 33 under the 8Jx18H2 mean that the offset is 33 ????

If I needed 5 mm (well actually could probably get away with 3mm extra) to clear the StopTechs with these wheels, what offset could I go to so that I would know a wheel would fit, or am I screwed up here....would I go to 38 offset or a 28 offset? What is the stock offset on the 17" wheels....StopTech says that the standard 17" wheels work.......am thinking here for my winter wheels....(Marcus, still owe you an email on this..LOL)

Oh, what does the "H2" mean after the "18"????

Thanks for any help....

Default Ok, now you have to remove a wheel and check the other side!

I could have sworn the size somewhere was 8.5". When we were at Doug's is where I checked it when I tried the wheel over Mike's StopTech's. hmmm . . . I even remember saying something to you about it being 8.5" wide! lol

Ok, my eyes are now really bad then! lol Or am I just getting old? nah!

Default a 5mm spacer would put you at 28mm offset

ET 33 is the offset yes...

the stock 17's are 32mm et? but the clearance problem might be due more to spoke design than actual offset. IE some spokes are deeper than others, or curve different even though offset is the same

no clue what the H2 means though!!!

Default answers . . .

Both stock wheels fit over StopTechs, it is not an offset issue. It is the internal spoke design of the wheels that is the issue.

You MUST remove one wheel and check to see if it says 8 or 8.5" on the inside of the wheels, just for my own sanity.

How come I call Sam and wish her a happy b-day and she does not reciprocate? Very disappointed with my "little sister". lol
