Default Okay, I've still got boost.....just drove the soup out of the car and so far so good.

Well, if you read my post down the page, I took off the lower hose of my TTDA that appeared to have been blocked off because I thought that may have been what was causing my boost to drop to zero at 5k rpm, and now I'm just running with one hose.....

Well, I just had it out for about a half hour and also turned the boost machine back on. I'm peaking at about 25-26 psi and holding at 20-22 depending on the gear.

I drove it good and hard for about 30 minutes on a combination of regular roads and highway, and I'm still getting full boost to redline, and it's not dropping off to zero anymore.

Well, like Steve, I'm not completely convinced that just one blocked hose is what cured it, but all I know is that I've got full boost to redline now even with the boost machine back on.

I guess we'll still VAG it tomorrow to see what the numbers say.

could the hose "so happens" to be blowing directly at the MAF, causing a problem?

Default No......

it was the intake hose, which should be sucking air, was up against the battery cover, thus blocking it off.
