Default OKAY new MAF is in, my problems are SOLVED>>>

So yea I got an OEM refurbished MAF for an AMU motor from ECS tuning. My prior MAF was still pulling 100% according to VAG-COM but it was a VW 2.0 MAF that I had for a year. What happened was I bought a MS stg2 **** and slapped it on, since then my car was hesitating when boost kicked in (high revs) along with the boost gauge not holding any specific number *needle would shake*...

So lets recap.

Problem: Major hesitations after getting a **** - even considered getting rid of GIAC for the 1,000th time.
Solution: Bought correct MAF and my life is perfect.

HALLAUAH!

I know we have all seen this before, but it's nice to search and find this one day for someone maybe? lol

Default I've been preaching that regarding MAFs for some time now, but few actually listen

it seems to be a common belief that it's perfectly fine to use the VW 2.0 MAF element.

Default can you post the 2.0 maf part number on the sensor? also when you said hesitation, was there surges

when you step on the paddle? if you have an open intake filter, you can actually hear this, is this what happened to you along with the neddle shaking and you can't hold on to boost consistently?
