Optimal place for boost hose tap?

So today is a lazy Saturday (I get to work from home, yippee) and I figured instead of working I might finally get my boost gauge wired up. It's been mounted in the car for 8 months, I figure it's time.
I was scouring the search results all day yesterday at work and I saw a lot of discussion over the years about the BEST place to tap for the boost gauge vacuum line. I saw some discussion about this guy on the manifold (not sure what this is called, so searching for it was difficult for me), and I saw someone mention tapping the vacuum line on the FPR, and then another. Is there really a de-facto standard place to attach my vacuum hose that has been agreed upon over the years?
I was looking at a diagram of the pressure flow and I wonder if the place in the picture may produce spurious results...
Thoughts?
Thank ye on this fine Saturday!!
