Default I'd say they both have their plusses and minuses, but I still want to race GT3 again to be sure.

I originally liked it better than Gotham, but still prefer the Evo or off-roading games better. : )

Default No, I still prefer GT3 over Project Gotham

First let me say Gotham is a beautiful game.

But when you boil it all down, which one you like better depends on what you prefer: looking at the scenery or looking at the cars. Please, let me 'splain:

- Gotham (which is basically Metropolis Street Racer from the defunct Dreamcast) is about driving through painstakingly detailed and realworld acurate streets of famous cities. Having lived in London, Manhattan and now San Francisco, I will admit they have done a first rate job of rendering the streets... down to the individual buildings. I've spent much of my time on Gotham going around just exploring and appreciating the city renderings. (I never lived in Seattle, so I don't know if the Seattle course in GT3 is anything like the real thing... but I don't think that's the point of GT3)

- GT3 is about mods and races, more mods and races, even more mods and races... look at the pretty cars in the replay... drool... fall asleep dreaming about the cars... dreaming about chasing that extra second on the time trial. This game can and has been very addictive for me.

In summary, I still think GT3 sets the standard for car-obsessed gamers. I do wish someone would come along and topple it (probably GT4). As for now, the only thing better than GT3 for me is parked downstairs in my garage.
