Default OT: Bad news....Rocky has left us

He was making a comeback midweek. I took him off the fish store's hands because he had a bacterial infection and they could not provide a nuturing tank to give him the best chance. I've had good luck reviving fish and I had everything he needed but it just wasn't enough. After the first day he really improved; ate all the apitasia in the tank! Then he was having trouble with a declined appetite and the infection spread. I will miss him.

In his memory

It's amazing how attached I became to him in just a week. He was a little jokester.

Default not to sound cold, but how much was he?

Getting more info about the fish. I was going to go to the store and look at stuff, but I forgot today was the Acura NSX race day, and it happened to be at Road America this year, so I had to go. It was tons of fun, but now I am here at work and missed going to the store.

Default "Cost" to me, nothing...Not a good day for mother nature and a sad night for me...

The fish sells anywhere from 40-150 depending on size and region it came from. This particular fish was Red Sea and about 6 months old so about $130 but it's not the money when you lose a fish. You get a attached to them and it's very traumatic.

Default Did you see the new BaschBoost Supercharger??

Unfortunatly, I was unable to make the trek to WI for NSXPO but I'm going to next year. Also, did you happen to see the SoS products.

TIA.

Default Sorry Robby, I guess the old fin-flop got the best of him, huh? :-(

Remind me to tell you about a very traumatic koi incident I had when I was in college... (involving a koi my mom had for 20+ years!!!)... it brings tears to my eyes (that or I have an infection) to this day, to think of old Miles... :-(

Default I saw a VERY incredible super charger on an NSX-R

not sure if that is the one you are talkign about or not. I think the coolest thing is the NOS and the Realtime.com NSX.

I am seriously considering NOS for both vehicles now.

Default There are now.....

three SC's available for the NSX, and Comptech is going to have to lower their prices. The new BaschBoost, a Paxton system, is only $5,600 installed for a limited time. It has dyno'd 366rwhp which is incredible in these cars.

Anyway, did you drive on Road America?? I really wanted to go but my business deal was more important.

-Cheers

Default I did not get to race :-(

I was actually only able to get up there for a few hours, so I watched. I was also walking around, finding mods ;-)
