OT HELP! - setting up my home office and need a mouse/keyboard location that will not kill my arm...
I am using my father-in-laws old law desk and really can not attach my keyboard stand that lifts up and down and slides in and out (the drawers make that move impractical). I need a free standing unit that sits next to the chair. Anyone have any suggestions? My wrist and elbow thank you! :-)

no solution for a mouse but I often put the keyboard on my lap :-)
this makes the screen far away enought to not hurt my eyes and means that my elbows are higher than my wrists while typing. This makes it much easier to spend long periods of time on-line.
I also saw something at OfficeMax a couple of weeks ago that would work. Don't recall the name but I know it was not expesive...

I don't know if this'll help, but it'll probably make you happier than a puppy with two...
