Default OT: Man o' man, we are getting BURIED in snow right now!

It's been predicted that Northwest NJ (where I am) will now get 20"+ of snow from this storm! We have about 10" down right now and I took the "other" car out to the post office and to do some small chores earlier... roads are just AWFUL! And I just saw 2 snowmobiles cruise by the house... on the road! Not going out again until this is over.

Hmmm.... Jason is in from UT, wonder if he brought this powdery snow with him to the east coast.

Damn wish that new digital camera was here today. I'm here just North of PGTT and there are about 9-12 on the ground now.

Although the last forcast I heard for us was 16 or more, it still a lot of snow. My airedale is in heaven and looks like the abominable snow dog.

On the otherhand so do both my Non-TT A4 based cars.

Default Where in the area are you? Here's a pic I just took.

Picnic table on my patio... getting buried!

No TT with me today, Helmut is hibernating at the parents house 10 miles from here as I only have a parking space for one vehicle. Plus being next to a road, don't want a plow to hit it!

I'm ViaTT's friend up in Hope. I've seen your car a few imes in town. The first time I saw it I said to ViaTT "I didn't know that a single wiper was an option on TTs"

Default Oh yeah, Hope is less than 5 miles from here. Like the single wiper mod, eh?

Not sure that I'm going to stick with it though, not very practical... but I think it looks kinda cool.

You have a TT or one on order? Or are you sticking with the A4s?

Default Two A4 based ... one in snow, other tucked away inside!

Hello friend in Hope!! ... my worlds are getting closer and closer! ahhh!

LOTS of snow! The stuff we plowed is already back up to 3+ inches!

VW Golf, TDI and my TTR in the garage ... plus that other german car (non-A4 based, but nice nonetheless).

Default Now think I'm going to meet up with suiTTman (Jay) in eastern PA at Jack Frost mtn.

He's already out there skiing today (gotta be cold/wet, but no doubt good!) and it's not that far for me. Not a big place, but very convenient. I want to get there at 8:00am for first tracks in 20" of powder!

So it's up early for me tomorrow to dig out and get there early, I fear that if I travel farther, I won't get there soon enough for first tracks.

Maybe we can hook up next time, like this coming weekend? Might want to do Mtn Creek or head north to Wyndham.

Tomorrow is gonna be sweet except ill be taking the tahoe up, which i hate driving.. Oh, make sure you hit all the untouched areas, (under the lifts and closed off areas) just be careful not to get kicked off the mountain and have fun..
