Ouch! Long drive + stiff suspension = stiff neck...
Yeah, well, I hate to sound cranky, but I took a long ride on my KW V1's (5 hours one way) and it hurt. The roads suck, and hitting anything at a 80 or a 100 goes right on up to my c-spine shock absorber. Also, sure wish the seat could go a little. bit. lower...
This was east Texas, btw. "Scenic drive" ha! My idea of a scenic drive is West Texas, able to see for 30 miles, a 100mph plus, and NOT LOOKING AT THE BACK OF AN SUV!!!!

I had the same feeling with mine. 18's made the ride pretty rough. 17's I got on now are perfect.
Can't corner as fast, but most of the time I'm just driving normal and the ride is much smoother.

I run my oem 6-spoke 17's, BUT I do run 45 front and 42 rear - after losing a
front Mich PS to a pothole at 36 psi. So, I could drop the psi a bit, but that won't help all that much, and I still seem to get some tire undertuck on hard corners with what I'm running now.

Actually, lower tire pressure is supposed to reduce pothole risk
higher pressure just passes the shock straight to the rim. Tire Rack actually recommends reduced tire pressure for winter driving for traction and rim protection...
