Default Paging gorTT: Question about the crossbar in your car

Did you get a chance to find out whether it can be safely used as a harness bar? I am still waiting for Martyn to get back to me on the compatibility issue.

Default no crash test! yeah, I'm pretty confident of it. >

Are you looking for what? - to actually secure the harness to the bar with a sewn loop or other connection? Very probably. In my estimation, it would take several thousand pounds of force to fail it, but I also acknowledge the forces in a violent accident are on that order. In my guess, yes, fine, considering a huge bulk of those forces are abated with the standard front lap device.
I'd be ok with it myself, but you could also, with a minor modification to the tray/shell, connect directly to the rear lap points as well.

Default For me, the rear delete seat kit is mostly for cosmetic reasons

and of course comes in handy when I don't want to carry extra cargo (i.e. unwanted passengers). Since there was a thread about harness yesterday, so I am curious whehter it would work or not. Thanks!
