Default Paging Mr. Bipes. My Audi tech seems to believe it's a...>>

bad front O2 sensor or an o-ring in the inlet of the turbo. He check the MAF and it was slightly above normal. The o2 sensor was higher but within Audi specs.

I did some hard runs this weekend with the VAG-COM connected and it did show a drop in boost around 3200 RPM.

He was going to replace the sensor but figured that I could get one cheaper than the dealer.

Thanks for your help.

Default Do not understand. MAF is "above" specs, 02 is within, and he want to replace the 02?

Well, I don't have a better answer here.
if you are buying the the parts, the 02 is cheaper than the dealer MAF.
O-ring in the inlet of the turbo would cause many other problems, I'm thinking.

Default Yeah, thats what i'm thinking too. He checked and tighten...>>

every hose he could. The o2 measurements were within specs but were on the high side.

He has a new MAF that we are going to try once we replace the o2.

He replaced the DV with a new one, disconnected the MAF, and replaced the N75 and the problem exists.

Audi said that to replace the front o2 sensor.

If that doesn't work, Audi said that there has to be a vacuum leak somewhere.

We'll keep plugging.

thanks for your help.
