Default painting a 2000 moro blue

Greetings,

I have a really good deal on a RED 2000 TT in the pipe. The only problem is, RED is just not my color. MORO blue is...

is it foolish to buy a car, that you plan on getting painted? what am i looking at for a factory-quality paint job? does AUDI offer this? any comments?

You can buy my moro blue off me, just wait until the 3.2's are here and it'll be for sale ;-)

Default Why paint it?

if you want to paint the whole thing, inside and out, will cost you more than $25K Canadian...... no?

Default Yes, it is foolish. It's a big job to get it done right.

Do you really want your car taken apart and put back together again? Look at the car with the hood and hatch open. Look underneath the car. Mine looks as if it were dipped in paint before any interior or engine bits were added.

Learn to live with red.

You'll have splashes of red everywhere, or pay way too much to take apart the car.
