Paul Miller ( NJ dealer ) strikes out again
Last night I picked up my 2001 ttrq. It was getting new lock cylinders and paint after some mf*cker tried to steal it.
Anyway onto my gripes!
- the driver's door does not open from inside or outside
- passengers side window switch does not work
- 7" scratch on the hood that goes down to metal
Any suggestions on how to deal with PM?

They didn't connect the cable from the latch to the door handle properly. look at this pic. closely
On the top, follow the gray foam/cable to where you see the small white nylon catch that is near the end of the cable with a hook on it.
They hooked the end into the door latch, but didn't secure this white nylon piece into the door panel.
This allows the cable to move freely, and not be pulled back when you use the latch.
They need to remove the door panel and secure this piece.
I know, it happened to me the first time I removed my door panel

The guys at Audi Mendham and Audi Bernardsville are quite meticulous! I like them a lot, but I'm so damn close to Paul Miller that it makes it tough to head over there!

Noooooooo!
Scratch on driver's door, down to primer:

Scratch on rear driver quarterpanel:

After first re-paint, fingerprints and marks all over clearcoat:

I'm going back a third time next week for them to send my car to their other body shop. After the second repaint there's a significant amount of dust under the paint. (no pics since camera doesn't pick it up too well)
Absolutely ridiculous.

I hate them. I bought my car from them. Absolutely awful.

There's a lot more, but I don't feel like typing it all up right now. :-)

Make sure you take photographs of the hood damage and get the service manager to look at it ASAP
I've had a similiar experience w/ Town Motors, see my "Noooooooo!" post on this thread.
If possible get them to pay to have it fixed at a shop of your choice. I've yet to resolve my problems.

took it back,- AND
I took it back today and talked to the service manager. They're fixing everything, gave me a loaner, and credited the repair costs(at my insistance). I'll pay them when the damages are fixed to my satisfaction
