Where did you install yours? Did you wedge it in the CD chamber, or elsewhere?

Default Which drivers? What difference?

I don't see any Audi drivers on the Phatnoise downloads page. What differences did you observe?

Default You need to hit the "hardware" button on the DMS software. There is a tab

there that lets you update the firmware. After installing the cartridge back into the unit, it takes about 5 minutes for the firmware to load onto the unit. It will NOT play music in this time, and must NOT be interruputed.

Default Phatbox has firmware updates for the car unit, and if you don't update them..

you can't take advantage of improvements they have made.

Default Jeff Bipes made me a cable so that I could retain the changer, so I am mounting in the...

rear deck that replaced my back seats.

Default The difference I noticed was the mp3 volume level seems to be increased...

I was a little dissapointed in the levels when I first installed it. It was not as loud as my CD's used to be. Now it seems louder than my CD's ever were. Also it seems to normalise the volume levels on the fly rather than every mp3 being louder/softer.

It also fixes the alpha search bug. No more skipping out of order.
