Phatnoise help!!! Where do you get the cable and can it
#2
worldimpex.com is where I got my cable.
It can be mounted where the CD is currently (coupe?), and to do so you need to remove the rear seats, remove the driver's side rear panel. That will give you full access to everything. Roadster is different, and I don't know anything about the configuration.

I cut my Phatbox with a band saw.....can you beleive it?
The Phatbox comes in dimensions that fit the cd changer bracket. The only problem is the cartridge does not fit through the access door. It is shifted to far a stern. What I did to fix this is a little scarry but works well.
The phatbox comes with superficial metal tube like features on both sides of the unit. I cut one of the tubes flush with the unit. I then took the piece I cut off and attached it to the other tube using the existing holes. That shifts the unit so the cartridge will line up with the door. Now you just have to drill a couple holes through the bracket into the superficial tube to attach it. It might seem a little scarry and does not look so attractive outside of the car but I feel it doesn't matter because you will never see it. Not to mention you can always put the CD player back in and take your phatbox with you to your next TT Coupe.
