Phenolic intake manifold spacer

yup, but probably <.100" so ....
hopefully the tradeoff (cooler manifold temps for infinitessimally misaligned injectors) is worth it.

i wish i had my car to play around with this weekend...
i really feel like taking something apart! sigh... chyaup to steve? any other bolt-on mods u been comtemplating?

the link has a more thorough explanation but-->
basically it is a thermal insulator, isolating the intake manifold from the head. a cooler intake manifold means the charge air won't heat up as much as it passes thru the plenum then the runners.

Very cool city. Went to Navy pier for the Gig Thurs., All nite party w/blues at the Museum of Industry and Science an Friday nite...Stayed at the Palmer House. Honda threw a very nice bash (despite all the smoke and mirrors!)
