Pics of my first track day at Calif. Speedway, thanks Aaron (imager993) for the instructions
This is my first ever track day last Saturday held at the California Speedway in Fontana. The event was hosted by Speedventures.com. Lots of nice cars (GT3, F430, Z06, etc). Lots of Elise, Exige, Corvettes, and S2K.. There was a really nice brand new M coupe that unfortunately hit the wall- ouch!
I had a blast and learned a lot about racing physics but still need more practice. My little 180 FWD could not keep up with these cars on the straights but did not do too bad on the curves.
A fellow forum member (imager 993) stopped by and drove my car for a few laps. Taught me the correct lines, heel-toe, etc. Im glad he showed me because my lap time and technique improved after he showed me. Thanks Aaron!
After the day was over, I realized that my TT does ok on the track but probably needs a rear sway bar upgrade as well as more power via APR or GIAC..I am now hooked and will probably attend more track days in the future. Will probably get a used car for tracking though and not use the TT as much.. Here are some pics:

Yeah I realized that..
Once Aaron got into my car and drove the hell out of my 180, he was going faster and pushing the car more than I would ever had done that day. And I know that he was not pushing the car 100% yet.

Spoiler less..
The track I was on, I never really past 100mph, so I am not sure if a spoiler will make a difference. However, if I do continue on other track events where speeds are 100+, then I may think about getting a spoiler (as much as I dont like the looks).
