Default Pictures from TracQuest at Willow Springs

I've posted my pictures from TracQuest's Willow Springs event from 8/3/2002. No Audis showed up other than me (but I didn't really either, read on), not sure where all the quattro club racers are.

Unfortunatly I didn't get to run the TT as planned. The shifter gate selection cable went as I pulled into Lancaster, leaving me with only 3rd, 4th and 5th gear. I'm still waiting on a new cable, the first one the shop got was the wrong one. At least it's something relativly simple.

I've never heard of one of these cables going out; makes a good case for the rod shifter linkages. If you've got a FWD TT think about ordering one of these cables to have on hand.

So anyway, still no track time with the Stage III kit installed, and I don't think I'll get a chance to get out before the September Silver State rally. The car's been running great, put about 3K on it since the Stage III install and other than this unrelated mishap everything's been fine. Can't wait to get it on the track and see what it can do!<ul><li><a href="http://community.webshots.com/user/jeffreytz">Jeff's Webshots Photo Album</a></li></ul>

Pick up the pace a little will ya...just a touch over 6k here...1 CEL, cats not reaching temperature...Must be the VMax and race cats tripping that code.

3rd, 4th and 5th gears should have been plenty.

Default Ha, it's tough 'cause I only live 3 miles from work

I got the cat not reaching temp code too. I'm using an APR racing cat so I gave them a call on that and they said that's normal, lots of air and everythings "efficient" so it doesn't get that hot. Hasn't come back.
