Need to write a letter to Santa and want to be specific so she doesn't feel like she's unprepared to make a track footware decision...

Piloti Korny Site

I've got the Monaco. They're pretty much tennis shoes with a little reinforcement and stiftening for heel & toe. Comfortable, but a little on the narrow side for me. For street driving, they're fine. But in my race car, they're too thick and get hung up on the pedal box (no problem in the TT). I think I'll buy some more serious boots for racing.
If you want something for autocrossing your TT, pretty much any tennis shoe (since tennis shoes do not have aggressive treads) will do just as well and cost 1/2 as much. Ask Santa for something my useful.

DTM Pro3-1, I'm not into halloween colors and like the mid height.....
as Peter said like sneakers but with good materials. Fit of mine are on the generous american size. I'm happy with them after a year of use for driving the TT and street use. Yes you can spend less but I think they are a fair price. I just wouldn't feel right prancing around in a pair of Simpson red booties during the day in town. Racing yes, TT cruising no.
