Poll.....Rear valance for my 3" turboback...
Just had the 42DD downpipe installed with a full 3"+ Sebring Tuning muffler. As others have posted, pulls harder and more smoothly to 7000 rpm, and it's more mellow than my Borla was... until you get into it, exactly what I was looking for. The install seemed fine, but after a 2 hour 'shakedown' I have creaking when turning the wheels and some minor rattle... any advice before it goes back to the shop? [Evan-the installer said the DP quality was excellent]
Poll: the Sebring is a single right exit leaving the question... fake left tip or a vacuum formed panel to turn my honeycomb valance into a smooth single tip?
Votes at work are running towards the single, I've never loved the honeycomb texture, but like the symmetry and 'expense' of the duals, but the single seems more honest for an inline 4.

Here is a thought>>>>
get the tips painted that black'ish look...kinda like the dark chrome...then soot is not an issue...only you know it will be a single exhaust...
Then take your 3.2 valence...and perforate the waffle so it is vented....
Then, paint behind the valence (body section)black so the silver does not show through....
It will help lower lift a tiny bit...and it would look a bit different, although a few others have done the vented 3.2 valence...
Just a thought! ;-)

I have not the patience of Raffi...
...I nearly had the tip powdercoated black but was advised to use hi-temp paint. The muffler cavity is definitely going black this weekend. Good idea if the vac formed piece doesn't pan out.
