Poll --- Reliability of the 2002's

Who here has a 2002 TT (any model but I am most interested in the 225 quattro coupe) and, what has been your experience with reliability (electrical -- windows, radio, gauges, etc). Have they fixed the problems that seemed to plague the prior models???

I really want to buy a TT but I am trying to decide whether I should wait one more model year so they can work out some more kinks......

34 months with an incredibly reliable 180 FWD and 10 days

with a so-far, glitch-free 225. You just have to believe in them ;-)

My view after 800 miles...

First let me say - Don't wait, get one as fast as possible, otherwise you're missing out on a lot of fun driving!

To answer your question, I had the driver side mirror replaced. It was loose inside the housing and vibrated at driving speed.

Still having a problem with the homelink system. Not sure if it's with the car or what? The homelink engineer's are hard at work on it, stay tuned!

Very dissatisfied with the "Premium Bose Stereo" option. I love the CD changer but the lack of a subwoofer is very noticable (only the roadster has a sub?)

So far my dealer has been great. A loaner car was available, but since I told them I'd wait, it wasn't required. We'll see when I show up with a few mods....

My experience has been above average so far. From reading the forum it looks like a lot of the early problems have been worked out.

Hopefully someone that's had a previous model can shed more light.
