poor performance
i have had a problem with my TT from day 1, with bad performance, changed airflow meter and still had the problem, so i took it 2 my local garage. He stuck the car on the diagnostic machine and it came out with an ''acceleration transducer'' fault, or something like that. He didn't know what that was and neither did i. Does anybody have a clue what this is and how much it is gonna cost me 2 repair.
Thanks

You really need some Audi specific diagnosis...>>
Or at least a code. The car is Drive by wire...I'm guessing it's either the throttle body Servo motor or Potentiometer at the pedal....But that's a guess without more info.
Have you done a throttle body adaptation lately?

You could have other issues..
BTW, to do a Throttle Body reset, Open the car door, insert the key and turn on (but don't start and don't touch the pedal). You shoulld hear a slight humming from the throttle body that will last 30 seconds. Done.
You might also want to do an ECU re-set....Pull the Neg battery terminal for a minute or so and re-attach. you may have to reset your instrument cluster and radio code, but this will clear the old fuel maps and allow a fresh adaptation... Do the TB reset again if you do this..
Where do you live? There may be a member nearby with a VAG-Com who could pull codes for you..

it hesitates abit when you go for the over take and it seems to take ages to get up2 speed, its crap when its cold, seems to get better the longer its been running. defo not getting 180 break outta it, my saxo vtr feels faster. the first few weeks i had it, it was fast so i have noticed the power loss.
