Default Possible Suspension Problems?

I'm not sure if my suspension is going out but the TT is not riding as good as it used to. I have about 6000 miles on her now. The car is very, very "bouncy" on the road...even a flat highway. When turning the car leans very hard into the turns now, feels like the rocker panels are nearly touching the road. Also when accelerating or stopping at normal speeds the TT really dips very far to the front or back. I know the suspension will wear a little after breaking but I didn't think it would be this bad.

If the suspension is shot will it be covered under warranty? If not, is there a good recommendation for aftermarket? Anyone know anywhere that would do the install in Maryland?

Sorry for all the questions gang, just hope someone can help.

Thanks,
Bill

Monroe dampers are waving bye-bye probably.

Default Sounds like your shocks are toast Bill......>>>

My stock shocks felt pretty crummy by 5K miles too. Most everybody is going to Bilsteins. See other recent threads on this.

Default Mine started doing the same thing. I could compress the Monroes by hand, and easily

when they came off the car. One word: Bilsteins.

Default The stock shocks are not gas charged - you WILL be able to compress them by hand

Even brand new ones. Only gas charged shocks are hard to compress by hand...

Default If they're that bad, have your dealer replace them...

Yeah, you could go with Bilsteins, but I figure why not make the dealer replace them for free rather than just give up and void my suspension warranty?

Default

My point is just that they don't exert much damping force, designed that way or not.

Default I believe gas charging is to reduce aeration of the fluid, not...>>

to contribute to the "damping" as such. Valving does that. If shock fluid aerates, the valves do not work as efficiently and damping is reduced.
