Power Window Problem
I have just picked up my 180hp TT roadster, its fantastic I manged to pick up some sun burn on the weekend!!! :-)
One problem is with the passenger side window which will go 1/2 way up then all the way down it will do this a couple of times then will go all the way up!? Any suggestions on a fix?

It either requires recalibration, or new motor/control unit
Either way, the dealer will take care of it. They had to order a new motor (the controller apparently is integrated) for mine, and only had the car two days.
I went in to see about scheduling a service time for mine, and they went to the effort of renting a car as a loaner so I would leave it there that day.

There is a way to reset the window control unit from the window button... Anyone?
It was just posted in the last week. I swear that person had this exact problem and reset the window control unit from the switch.<p>Ivan

Hold the window switch up or down for over 10secs. same for the other window.

1 touch up/down can be reset with the control switches. (more)
Resetting the pinch control appears to require the VAG tool, or at least it is not documented in the owners manual.
To reset one touch up/down, hold the switch down until the window is all the way down. release the switch, then hold it down for 1 second.
If the pinch control is not calibrated, the one touch will quickly loose its adjustment as well. Resetting the 1 touch helps some, but does not solve the problem.
