power window problem

power window problem

Got a driver's side window problem...when the window is activated to close, the glass reaches the top, then immediately opens again. Anyone out there know what this is about?

Mine's getting fixed next Monday...

But could be any list of things...

Window controller unit
Door wiring harness (short)
Locking mechanism...

Mine's the controller unit - fixed under warranty.

I'm having this problem too but of course can't replicate at the dealer

I have the same problem. On the passenger side. The window goes up and after it opens again 1/4 of the way. But it is random. Sometimes it is fine for weeks. Sometimes it does it 2-5 times in one day. I will report the problem to my next Audi appointment (my car is a 2002 TT Coupe with 6,000miles). Massimo.
