Preperations for long-term storage
I'm taking my 2002 TT225Q Coupe off the road - saving it for my daugher. I thought I'd run the gas tank dry, disconnect the battery and leave it sitting on a well used set of Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25Vs. I also bought an OEM cover (very cool) and will park it in my garage.
Any other suggestions? The car is stock and mint (72,000 miles) and I'm hoping to keep it that way.
Thanks, Faster

Unless the area is temp/ humidity controlled you are not doing the car any favors. You won't be able to get all the gas out either so all the fuel system and seals will start to fail. They need the additives that are in the fuel.
I would park it in the garage and take it on a short drive every couple of months. Use a battery tender. So you drive 10 miles every 2 months, 60 miles a year?
