Default Prior to my "speeding" ticket....................

this past Sunday a forum friend and I installed the neuspeed 19mm rear sway bar. Given the circumstances of that day I have been reluctant to push the car very hard but in normal driving I don't notice that much of a difference. Maybe a little tighter. Does anyone have any experience with this mod. What should I be looking for?

Luster, how easy was the install? Any significant increase in ride harshness?

Default Given my mechanical skills ..............

which are nil I'd say it was very easy. No increase in ride harshness at all. The mod seemed to have taken out some oversteer " I think" but really I don't feel that much of a diff.

Default Try adjusting tire pressures......

The bar removes Understeer and moves the car more toward neutral. I run 36/36 F and R and find that ideal...This is assuming all your other alignment specs are good..

Default There's not a whole lot to notice in most regular driving.

Punch the gas out of a slow speed corner in a safe area and see what happens. Before the bar, you would be more likely to "push" throught the corner, the bar may help to rotate the car. The back end should come around more easily. Sometimes too easily Unless you were trying to remedy a specific understeer gremlin, it's tough to notice...

Default What to look for.......

Drive over some rough pavement and drive some tight corners. You should feel the rear end be much stiffer (like stiffer springs). Instead of the rear rolling as much it will stay flatter, but just in back. Bumpy roads it's wise to take it easy on till you get a feel for the car since you are limiting suspension travel and the independance of it, side to side, with the stiffer bar. Don't try any of this at high speeds till you are comfortable with it since that could be the point you regret having it.
