If referring to fob, both should be set up for your car...maybe I am missing point of question?

I was reading my wife's Beetle manual when she got the car with the awesome switchblade key.
There can be a time when the key can 'deprogram' itself from the car. In the manual there was a procedure for 'reintroducing' the key to the car.
perhaps this is your problem. Check the manual for how to re-aquaint the keyless entry stuff to that key, should fix your problem.
My TT is a week or two away, or I'd actually go down and get the book and read you the sentance that probably tells you how to fix it, but since I can't, you'll have to do it yerself 8-)<p>Tom Boucher
