Question about the Catalytic Converter...
I managed to stupidly run out of gas this weekend in my 2001 TTR (Luckily some good samaraitans gave me and my dog a ride to the nearest gas station). According to my owners manual allowing the engine to run out of gas can damage the catalytic converter. What are the odds that I did this? Do I need to take my car in and have the emissions checked?

Warning lamp will light if cat not working properly
Comparisons are made between upstream & downstream oxygen sensors. When the signals converge catalytic bed is dead. Dash warning lamp comes on.
