Default About 15 minutes on the subway. On the surface, it really depends on the>>

time of day. If it were late, a taxi could have you there in less. During the day, longer. So during shopping hours, subway is the way to go.

Default if the roads are clear, 10-15 minutes with traffic lights. with traffic...maybe 45 minutes.

but also depends on whether or not you're going crosstown or not. if you plan on going to the market up by the Hudson, you should consider taking the westside hwy.

Guestimate $10 if the traffic is light. Also, if it's late, she may have trouble finding a taxi roaming the streets up there, unlike midtown. I assume she's staying up there and wanting to head south for her shopping?

I've parked then skated up there in the Park in winter, it's no problem.
