Default Question for Boost machine users

The temps finally went down in Houston this week (from 80-90 to 60-70). Normally when the weather cools off my car runs a lot stronger but there was very littel difference this time and there may even bee less power.

The last time I drove in cooler weather was TTE and the car was a monster.

What do BM people do when the weather changes? I had set my valves at 4 turns on the pressure valve and .75 on the relief valve and left them alone. Anyone care to comment on this?

Default Boost machines are seasonal.......:-).....>

Being pressure devices I suppose. Open her up another 1/2 turn Mark and it should get you back to where you were...

I've noticed this phenomenom over the years. Performance varies depending on how far above sea level you are too. Traveling from here (about 0 elevation) to TT-East Canandaigua impacted mine by about 3 PSI...

Default My numbers went down from peak 22 to peak 17. ->>

Found a leak in the hose connected to the top of the DV. Fixed it. Now the peak is at about 19/20. Should I increase from 4 1/2 turns to 5 turns?

Default That's what I thought but I wasn't sure which way to turn it.

I know we get more boost in the summer (even though it feels like less) to make up for the heat so I was expecting to feel the boost more in the cooler weather if I left the valves where they are now. I'll open it up a little more and see what happens :-)

Default Yeah, sounds like I need to open it up a little more. Makes sense.

I don't have the FMIC and have no plans on getting one at this stage (money is going to my other mod - a 6 week old baby!!). I'd like to change my rotors and pads at some point in the medium term though...
