question: CD Changer cover panel won't latch...
yes, I STFA but could not find any mention. has anyone else had problems getting the plastic panel to latch properly for the CD Changer or the emergency kit cover, next to the rear "seat"?
There is no apparent damage to the clip mechanism, but the cover won't latch properly.
TIA for any insights.

For the emergency kit cover a little spot of super glue works. You can always break the seal
if needed. I believe someone else reported using thin strips of foam mounting tape to hold the lid down.

Reviving old thread. My 2001 coupe CD changer lid always pops open and squeaks and creaks. Has anyone found a fix for this? I looked at the latch and seemed OK. I lubed the sliders and it moves more freely, but still pops open with every tap or bump. Duct tape holding it closed right now, but that is very ugly.
