Default Question Re: Wheels

When you look at wheels like the LM, supermesh and the R10. Do you see tuning forks, or Ys? Some wheels are definitely Y shaped because of the breadth of the spokes, but the ones I mentioned above are always tuning forks for me. Is it an optical illusion, or more a function of right vs left brain? I know distance matters, but assuming a full on shot where both wheels are mounted to a car and within the same frame of vision.

Here's an illustration of what I'm talking about brain-wise...

Ok --- I see clockwise-- right brain. Is this a hoax? Don't see how one could see anti-clockwise.

Default I did actually get it to go anti-clockwise for a second there! (Took a while...)

Sort of like those old Magic-Eye 3D things. ;-)

I always see tuning forks, no matter their breadth. Clockwise, but can see it go the other way.
