Default Interface problem or the MAF is totally Boogered...>

it should never be 0%. Check your MAF plug and MAF pins for a faulty connection..This same thing happened with Milpowers car..
You do have a licensed VAG program, not shareware?

Default I started my car this morning before I disconnected the MAF...

I went and wiggled the connection while my car was around 1100RPM (warming up). I'm not sure if it was a coincidence but as soon as I moved the MAF connection my car started stumbling and VAG-Com revealed I had multiple cylinder misfires. They went away as soon as the warming up period ended and my RPMs dropped down to normal. I drove the car after to make sure that I wasn't getting any misfires and everything was fine.

I shut the car off and disconnected my MAF and immediately noticed the car drove a lot smoother, albeit horrible mileage and slower.

Sounds like a bad MAF to me... I have a 180Q AWP - should I go for the "L" MAF or the "LX" - is there a difference?

Default Good plan...>

The X just designates the remanufactured ones..(the elements are NEW, the housings aren't) but you don't need that anyway. All the remans I've seen look new all around.

Default maybe you are collapsing a hose (throttle body or compressor intake) under high boost...

after you let off boost it could pop back out and return to normal

Default I plugged the MAF back in after work and the car ran like crap...

It was idling fine and then I went to pull out and it decided to start to sputter. Damn near caused an accident. I'm not sure what happened to it, but my car was running fine with it plugged in, beside what I originally posted about.

Oh well, I think I'm going to order a Reman from PureMS right now.
