I came across this thread on Rennlist saying that the windows on the TT are so narrow that you can't get out of the car while wearing a racing helmet. This would obviously be a problem in a crash.

I do not have my helmet with me at work to test this, but does anybody have any experience with this or tried it? Does this pose a large safety risk racing the TT?

But really you shouldn't call attention to this because if the TT got banned from track events by the ACNA I would have to come and hurt you..

I could not get out with or without a helmet. But, I always open the door to exit.

I do not race, so it is a non-issue for me.

If I did race, I would prefer a 427 Cobra vintage racer anyhow, properly equipped, of course.
