Default Radar/Laser Jammers

Do they work? I am considering jammer and or detector. If you have a Jammer do you even need a detector? And what has anyone experienced with the Phazer Brand Jammer?

Also - Thanks for the feedback on the Borla system. This forum has been great. I am going to ask Santa for Borla system and chip.

Just not sure about APR or Garret as a stocking stuffer.

Wish we had someone who has tested both the Garrett 200 and the APR 210.

There was an article on a radar jammer about a year ago in Roundel, the BMW car club mag. They tested the jammer (forgot the brand) in real-life situations here in Ohio. The unit successfully jammed radar in the 3 instances it had exposure to it. On one occassion the state trooper went after the driver to questions him as to why his unit (laser) didn't work when it was pointed to his car. He gave him a ticket for no front plate. A no no here in Ohio. If you want I can dig through my old mags and get you specifics.

Default Just installed the new K-40 undetectable Radar/Laser Buster (more)

It was very expensive but very stock looking. Two led lights built into dash. left side: flush muti-coloer Green/yellow (Highway/city) and right side flush red warning light. The switch to activate/change modes & volume was installed under ashtray on back plate. Can be heard over very loud stereo vol.

And it works: There is on many occassions a radar trap on my way to work on Rt 50 W. towards DC. Yesterday I drove over crest of hil doing 85 the laser signal zapped me I slowed down to 68 in a 65 zone. drove right past them in the fast lane, and there were only three cars behind me. I was in front. Cop pulles over the 2nd car who was aprox 20 car lengths behind me at the crest of the hill.

C/D did a review of radar and jammers a while ago, maybe 2 years.

Nothing compared to the Valentine 1. And the battery ones were awful.

And none of the jammers worked.
