Raffi... I have a vibrating noise coming from my new shifter knob... Any suggestions??

Raffi... I have a vibrating noise coming from my new shifter ****... Any suggestions??
It is a vibrating noise like metal hitting metal... Any quick fix suggestions, I was thinking about wrapping the inside with electric tape, cause i think it might be the spring???

The way the **** attaches, I'm positive it's not from the ****
you could be right about the spring making the vibration, try the tape on the inside, but don't make it too thick, that might very well solve the noise I think.
Maybe add a layer on the inside top of the **** too, let me know how it turns out.
