Default Ran Vag-com, still won't start

It has fuel and spark but won't fire. It looked like it gotten about 2 teeth out of time, so I reset the timing and the marks are right on now. Still no start.

The one code I kept getting was for the Cam Position sensor, saying it was getting an improbable value. I tried the one off of Arif's car and got no such error(this was before correcting the timing issue).

Could a bad cam position sensor be keeping it from starting after all this?

Default What makes you think it's the sensor >

instead of the re-assembly, or did you not touch the cams?

Default I had an experienced race shop do the valves. As I said, I was getting a Cam sensor code yesterday

now that the timing is set correctly, it still won't start.
