Read this before you buy anything from the Racestore...
Just to give everyone a head's up. I purchased a TT hardtop from the Racestore in late November / early December. Ralf promised me it would ship a number of times but it did not.
He finally left me a voice mail saying it had shipped on December 28th. He did not provide the shipper's name or waybill number as I had requested.
The Racestore was closed from Dec. 31st through Jan. 4th. When I hadn't heard anything by January 7th, I called him again and left a voice mail - no response. I left another voice mail again on the 8th - no response. He answered the phone on Jan. 9th and promised to fax me the waybill information and call me back. He did neither.
Based on seemingly good reviews of the Racestore and a price break from Ralf I paid for my hardtop with a check. Something I certainly regret now.
Maybe Ralf will have a good explanation and if he does I'll be the first to post a retraction but as of now he is unresponsive and there is no good explanation of why my hardtop is not in my hands or I at least should have a tracking number and all of the information concerning the transaction.
If anyone else has had a similar experience I'd appreciate an email to let me know the final outcome.

Cancel the order! Contact your credit card company to refund you the money!
Does Stratmosphere have the hardtop? If so, get it from them, they've got great customer relations.

Ralf will make things right...I had a similar problem too
although it was for items that cost considerably less (brake rotors).
I had a similar string of unreturned calls and emails, as well as "promises" that the rotors shipped. Well, in the end he explained what caused the delay and made up for it w/ a few free trinckets.
Not defending him here, and I'm sure it is no consolation to you, but he will come thru.

Never had a problem with many transactions.
The hard top is a very difficult item to ship with a laden equivalent of 300 lbs. The service of the independent shippers is notoriously shoddy.
