The real cost of a TT ....
Yeasterday A forum friend abnd I installed the neuspeed 19mm rear sway bar. Nice mod and worth it. But the real story begins about 5:30 P.M on a suburban road . My wife and I, after seeig a movie and going grocery shopping,are on our way home and at stop light when out of the blue a siren goes off. Needless to say I jumped up and said WTF. Some young officious cop get's out says I'm going 50mph in a 35 mph zone. Hell, I was just going home at the same speed I do everyday not paying attention to the speedodometer. Now I have lived in this( what was originally a rural area but is now suburbia) for 18 years and take this road almost daiiy at various speeds depending on where I have to be. But never puposely speed, since it is an industrial park with many offices and cars. So he gave me a $150.00 ticket...yes I said $150.00.. and I am pissed and want to fight this. Has anyone had a experience in this type of sitiation because I have not? And finally, I am sure it was the car that got this ticket. TIA

but, if he tagged you with radar --
like you said, you weren't paying attention to your speedo it is *possible* you were going 50.
If so, you're sunk -- don't waste your time. Pay the fine.

No, always fight the ticket.
Even if he "tagged" yo with radar. Even if it is possible you were doing 95 in the 30MPH zone. Even though it is a small pain in the ***, ALWAYS fight the ticket.

I got a $173 ticket a month or so ago, 72 in a 30.
Went to the hearing and the judge said he would reduce it to 55 in a 30 so I dont lose my license if I take a drivers theory class and I dont get any other traffic violations in 60 days. Im sure if you go to court and explain the situation hell cut you a break. Especially since it seems like you havent gotten a ticket for a long time, Im 17 and he let me off.

He tagged me with enread..whatever that is. And I may have been going 50 but it was with the flow..
of traffic. A warning would have sufficed. I will definitely fight this.. Thanks for the info...
