Default Reasonable to sell car for mileage at Fed rate? (more)

Have a 180 FWD with 3,000 miles. Will be on an overseas assignment for an extended period where I cannot take the car. My wife does not want to use the car. I can continue to make a year of payments on the car until I return but would rather sell it and get another (if so inclined) when I return.

The question is: is it reasonable to expect to get a residual price based upon a fed mileage rate? or does anyone on the forum think I can expect to take a 'big hit?'

Interested parties may e-mail me with questions re: the car.

Would appreciate serious response.
