Default Replacement all season tires for TT?

I will be getting my brother's '01 TT 225 quattro in a few weeks. It has about 25k miles on the original Michelin pilot sport tires, I think it's pretty much worn out. I want to get some all season performance tires for it instead of summer only tires.

What's a good all-season performance tire in the oem size ( I think 225/45-17?)

I just put a new set of Yokohama AVS DB S2 tires in a 225/50ZR16 size on my bmw 328i and I like the way they handle and ride, but unfortunately, yokohama does not make that tire in the TT size.

How are continental contiextremecontact tires? They seem to be backordered everywhere, but how are they as a all season tire?

Thanks!

Default You might also consider Sumitomo HTR+

I've heard good things about the traction, comfort, price and wear.

I've also heard a complaint that they were too squishy in turns.
