Default Help! ECS Tuning or H&R Spacers for '01 225 HP TT

Hello I have aftermarket rims same size and offset as OEM and Bilstein Pss 9 lowered to a finger gap between the wheel and fender (just perfect). I would like to bring out the wheel just a little 10 - 12 or 12.5 MM.

I am looking at ECS and H&R, are there any clear advantages between the two? ECS seems to have a wider variety and I like the 12.5 MM.

I am not going to track the car just spirited driving. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Default I had both

I used to run spacers and owned both 20mm ECS and 25mm HR.. Both seem to be good quality and the HR seemed heavier built. If you are not racing then either is fine. The ECS however i black and has a nice ECS logo that you can see thru the wheel. The HR are silver and blends in your wheel. Matter of taste.

Seems to me that the ECS ones won't fit certain rims (not my Sterns anyway)

Default Thinner H&Rs didn't fit my Neuspeed wheels. I'll toss another mfg in the ring with FK (see link

They also make "bolt to" spacers (they call them "Type B") down to 15 mmm thickness, where others are 25mm and up.

http://www.ngpracing.com/store/index.php?target=categories&category_id=1178</a

Your post has a NT sticker behind it, thus making your post ricey. And mine, too---> ;-)

The 10mm H&R spacer will only work with OEM wheels

Default Thanks folks, I think I will go with the ECS since I know they fit

I tried on the 10MM ECS with my aftermarket rims at a local sport shop and it work fine. And since the H&R and the ECS seem to be evenly matched for me, given your input I will try the ECS.

Thanks again everyone of all of your help and input.

Kindest Regards
