Reset service reminder fee
After looking at the invoice from the service appointment I noticed that the dealer charged me $22 to "reset service reminder".
Does everyone else get charged this fee when they bring in their car for service? What does the dealer have to do to reset the service reminder and can I do it in the future?

No, never charged...this will kill you though...

takes 16.5 minutes apparently...
Wow. That is rediculous... Ask how much they charge an hour, then do the math and ask if it REALLY takes them that long to press two buttons and turn a key.
$80/hr = $1.33/min
$22 = 16.5 minutes
So, apparently, it takes trained professionals about 16 minutes to reset the service interval. Dear Lord! I hope they don't have to drive your car from the garage bay to the parking lot, it would cost you a fortune!
