Had a great time. When I left NJ it was snowing with 2" accumulation on a bed of ice. Got to enjoy GA weather with trees in full bloom. I took some video with instrument lights on and HVAC controller set to display car speed (thanks JB). On video however dash is dark. Even with shadow enhancement you can't make out speed readout. Oh well, I made an attempt. A bit of carnage over the weekend, 6 cars: 1 racer, 2 instructors and 3 students (none in Audi's). The pic with the smashed side actually hit the wall first in the rear causing both seats to break, yes there was a passenger in the car at the time (for a real ride of his life). The last pic was a fellow in my group, we had the only stock cars in "A" group. I switched to "B" group the second day, he elected to stay with his buddies. Got a little faster in turn #3 and lost it. Hit the tire barrier head on without setting off the air bags. Insurance agent was coming the next day to inspect car, they're covering it (my guess is he'll be dropped at renewal time).
I really didn't have enough time to get a good feel of the track, kept lifting before the bridge at 12. Need to go back with real brakes so I can hold off until the 150' mark coming into 10A and make a full assault on 12.

Was it supposed to be a track day or a "driver training" day. Many insurance companies grugingly
like the latter. Anyway, I'm envious and it looks pretty cool. Thanks for the pix!
