roadster driver's door rattle
The dealer tried the TSB to no effect. I finally wrapped a piece of bed sheeting around the striker plate and that removed the rattle. The dealer then installed an adhesive-backed piece of felt-- there is no longer a rattle.
Don't let the dealer change the setting in-out. Does not work. Also, they took my door apart and installed a new latch. After installation the problem was not fixed and I now have a sqeaky pad near the place where my left elbow sits, there is a metallic vibration inside the door at certain times as well as a rasping sqeak at the top of the post which hold the fixed pane of the window.

I took my roadster in 2 weeks ago to have the rattle
fixed. I was told the tech did something to the door seal, adjusted something, lubed something (is that the TSB?) and it did fix the rattle....
for about a week.
It's back again with a vengance, so I have to make another appointment.
Maybe I'll try your tip-thanks for the idea.

we had a rattle in both doors. They re-aligned the door and lubed the seal - not returned (10+ mo)
They seemed to get that one right. They also got the rear rattle (trunk lid seal lubed) been very quiet for almost a year now.
Sounds like your problem is probably different.
