Default Roadster roof leak

My 02 225 roadster has a small leak of water during washing between the window and the roof at the A pilar position. Any tips on how to plug it up? The gap looks like it is only about 1-2 mm but just enough to let water drip in. Thanks for any help.

Default Really no cure for it...

Mine has always been prone to leakage there.I've tried several things from tape to silicone...it just kept leaking.

That's the price of fame I guess.

Default I have the bentley guide but I dont believe that it is an adjustment procedure....

because the window closes and seats off normally everywhere else. It seems like the rubber trim that creates the hermetic seal has annealed and shrunk over the years and created a very small gap. The car has spent its entire life in AZ and CA.

Default In that case maybe a new seal would be appropriate..

I think the Bently would allow you to tweek the front up a bit, but that may not fix this problem..

Default Good tip, maybe just a slight adjustment would solve the problem....

I will have to take a look at the bently guide. Although I have had some problems with the software running on windows vista. Is there a specific area I should look on the guide? Thanks for the help schwing.

Default Not exactly sure where it is...>>

My Bentley is down at the moment. I believe they have a Fix for the Vista issue. I know RoberTT finally got his running after some correspondence with them!

Default I adjusted my window up about 2mm and that mostly fixed my leak, FWIW.

Check out WAK-TT's site for a good picture tutorial. I used the bolt I took out of the handle to loosen and tighten the brackets that hold the glass in place.

Door Panel Removal
