Default Rocker Panels

If anyone knows where I can buy rocker panels (both left and right) for my 2001 8N TT please let me know.

Try Shokan Coachworks. If they can't help you may need to fabricate your own.

Shouldn't they be available as replacement body panel parts? I tried contacting Shokan about other replacement parts through their web site messaging, but I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply.

Yes, I believe there are places where I am able to buy replacement parts its just they are quit expensive and I would have to pay to also have them painted which doesn't help with the cost. But if that is what it comes down to in the end I will have to go that route because they are rusting quite quickly. And I also emailed Shokan about two days ago and no response as well. I have also tried calling them but unfortunately I was not able to get through.

Unfortunately, parts for a TT are not cheap to get. It goes with the car's placement as an Audi, not a VW. The Mk.1 has the benefit of parts bin sharing with the VW mk.4 platform, so if you know/research the VW Golf mk.4 platform, you can save some $ there.

Awesome. Thanks, I will look further into the golf MK4 platform.

You can spot the same part numbers here.
Online VAG spare parts catalog, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat. VAG VIN decoder, part number search. *** Online.
They're not necessarily the same dealer part numbers as in US or Canada (as I found out), but they will show you the compatible/exchangeable parts. I found that the Canadian part numbers are different from the catalog or US part numbers, but as long as you understand which parts are common to both makes, then you just source the part in your locale.
Some finer, detailed breakdowns are not illustrated here - like the interior dome light for example. While the whole dome light unit looks different between Golf/Jetta & TT, the lens of the dome light is the same. I imagine that you could swap one unit for the other, but you'd have to check on the connectors (probably the same).
