I spoke to Yakima today and asked about a rack for the TT. I was told that Yakima considers the TT a "non-rackable" car! I asked for an explanation of this. They told me that the company has decided for 1 of the following reasons not to produce a rack for the TT.

1. Not possible to engineer a safe rack to the Yakimas standards.

2. Not enough interest in the rack and not economically feasible.

3. They only sell in North America and the market is too small.

I questioned all of the reasons and they still said no way.

I am waiting for Thule to call me back on Monday. I will call them Monday morning just in case they don't call me. I also have to call Audi back to check on the status of their rack.
