Driving to work this morning saw my first red TT on the 5 freeway near Laguna Hills/Irvine area(Southern California). Came up to the driver and gave him a salute, he waved back.

With all due respect for red TT owners, this color is simply over powering for this car. Of course color choice is a highly subjective matter but red seems to hide some of TT's best lines specially the B-pillar.

There were two cars trailing me just checking out my Silver TT and when the red one came up in the left lane, they both switched lanes and followed him. It was simply impossible to ignore, certainly a plus if one enjoys the attention.

I guess I could have waited 8 months for black or silver, but my red one was on the lot with no waiting. I kind of like the idea that you don't see many of them. It sure bumps up the "stare" factor.
